Emotions shared and yet controlled
Dreams no longer bound
Freedom to be who we are
And soar through skies of blue
Never asking for the moon
A truth I've found in you
Sensitive in many ways
When others aren't concerned
Reaching forth a helping hand
To calm a heartaches burn
How is it that you understand
The feelings I had hidden
And loneliness from other's eyes
To see had been forbidden
Of me you understand much more
Than you may realize
The truth of what is in my soul
